SCHOOL FOOD NUTRITION SUBSTITUTE HIRING PROCESS
School Nutrition (SN) substitutes are employed by Mitchell County Schools on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent School Nutrition employees. In order to be a SN substitute, an individual must be at least 18 years old, and must be approved by Mitchell County Board of Education or its designee  Also, in order to remain on the active substitute list, individuals must substitute a minimum of one (1) time per school year.  Failure to meet this requirement will result in the individual being inactivated.
